In this day and age, it’s hard to escape. Everyone wants to be heard. There is so much noise. When do we tell ourselves to take a break from it all? And when is it a good time to jump back on the ether bandwagon?
Hi there, it’s me, Jaqualine. I have a problem with social media.
It has opened a lot of doors for me, but it’s also made me wicked anxious. For years I was afraid of being cut off from the world - but now? If I’m feeling overwhelmed it’s so easy to just delete all my social media apps and take the break I need. No announcements. No worries.
I don’t owe my break to anyone, you don’t owe your break to anyone. If you need it - take it.
Here is your permission.
Here are also some tips -
+ Delete the apps - don't worry, your information and profile will still be there! If you find the need to check it, use a desktop!
+ Invest in a classic alarm clock to wake up, yes, that means don't use your phone alarm.
+ Focus your time on doing something you love.
+ Make a list of all of the things you meant to do - and then do them! It'll feel great. I promise.
Much love and art,
