ABOUT ME

My name is Jaqualine Hall and I created The Altered Diary out of a deep need for

self-reflection. 

 

Digital collage is my form of grounding myself from the chaotic world we live in. Creating beautiful and bizarre compositions about vulnerability and ephemerality. I often use the female form and various botanical imagery to navigate my own connections to my feminity, my humor, and being a mother.

I currently reside in North Carolina where I experiment with various methods of artmaking. I earned a BFA in Two Dimensional Media in 2016 from Weber State University. I'm happy to provide resources that have helped me as an artist through my art blog.
