Why I think Etsy is cool for beginners

If you are EVER wondering to yourself, "Am I ready?"

Yes bitch, you are ready. Just start. There are a million and one lessons you learn on the way, but the best way to start is to dive head FUCKING FIRST.

Did I know all the ins and outs of running a business? Heck no. But Etsy really is super beginner-friendly. They offer shipping calculations, statistics, and a simple step by step process for listing. Etsy literally holds your hand - and I like that.

Creating your own site is cool, but when you are first starting out it can be hell to try and find an audience, or people who want to buy your work for example. With a marketplace like Etsy, buyers are already searching for, well, things to buy!

Building an audience is the key. Even testing the waters to find out if eCommerce is for you is also important.
